Welcome to the Borough of Baldwin The Borough of Baldwin is situated in the South Hills of Metropolitan Pittsburgh in the County of Allegheny. Our population as of the 2000 census is 19,999. The area is 5.44 square miles running from the Monongahela River at the city line to South Park Township bordering Pleasant Hills, Whitehall, Brentwood, West Mifflin and Bethel Park. We have four volunteer fire companies, an Emergency Medical Service and a Police force of 29 sworn officers for your safety. Our public library is staffed by Certified Librarians and is located in the Wallace Building on East Willock Road and Macek Drive in the central section of the borough.
There are nine voting districts in the borough, and we are included in the 18th Congressional District; 43rd State Senatorial District with 2 State Legislative Districts (36th and 41st) serving our residents. We have a Mayor and 7 Members of Council, elected at large serving 4 year terms. Our Public Works Department maintains our roads, parks, and sewers. Member of the Brentwood-Baldwin-Whitehall Chamber of Commerce.
